The food was great, however the wine served was old and tasted terrible. I expect that a wine restaurant would serve great wine, however I was very disappointed. Moreover, the service was extremely slow, even when addressing the bad wine. The server only returned when we were almost finished with our meal to indicate that the bartender indicated he would open another bottle. By that time we were ready to leave.

Our server was just amazing. Our daughter has Celiac so our server made sure she was taken care of well. They have a full Gluten free menu. My daughter was so happy from the experience and food yesterday.

I’m a Wine Club Member and we wanted to do the wine tasting before dinner. The place was packed to the hilt. We patiently waited our turn, and over and over again (after being there for about 45 minutes), people would walk off the street and take the next opening at the bar knowing full well people were waiting. I’m not going to start a fight with someone over it, but it happened several times. Someone who had just finished even noted it at commented to us how we got taken advantage of. I could easily speak up, and I don’t expect CH to change the insanity of the human condition, but something should be done about making it a bit more equitable. The food was just ok this time and was not reasonable portions for the $50 I dropped on the Chef’s Special. The bartender and our waitress were wonderful, though. I appreciate both of them. It was ok, but I wish I had gone somewhere else last night.

The food was excellent but our waiter was not. He was slow, most ask if you want to use your tastings for a glass of wine, he didn’t. I had to ask for mt card back after receiving the check.

Food was delicious! Loved the crème brûlée French toast and the short rib grilled cheese sandwich. Could have had more short rib on the sandwich. Great service!!

It was very busy so thank goodness we had a reservation. I recommend always making a reservation anyway. I had the parmesan crusted mahi mahi and my friend had a cheeseburger. We both thought our meals were delicious. Between that and the pretzel bread that is served complimentary, we were so full afterward. We also got a bottle of the rhubarb wine to share. It has a unique flavor. It's a sweet wine but not overly sweet. I felt it was a perfect accompaniment to my mahi mahi. The noise level was higher than usual due to the large crowd but overall it was a very pleasant evening.

We had a very nice time last night. The food was so good; I had the Wine O'clock appetizers and my husband had an entree. Everything was delicious including the January wine! We'll be back!
