The food was outstanding. Our server was welcoming and worked hard to handle what seemed like most of the tables. Will definitely go back, especially also since they have a designated parking lot by busy Wooster Street.

Wonderful example of what an old fashioned Italian restaurant should be. Founded 1938, welcoming, friendly, everyone (and us) having a great time, great (no excellent) food, Very few modestly priced Italian restaurants are worth a special detour but this is definitely one

Have to knock it down for service. With a positive note Waitress who initially met us was sweet but incompetent. Ordered wine..she came to say she forgot the after 20’mintiee Never brought bread Has a question ingredients in Lasagna After 20 minutes to tell us the meat makeup Another 15 say they were out of it She basically abandoned us Found lovely long tenured woman waitress..she needed all of 15 seconds from me to say she was taking over our table and she was fantastic For meals being none of their much self acclaimed lasagna was available (which is a tough one at 7pm on a Saturday night ..surprise they could not plan for this) My sub Chicken parm(which was on the website menu but not Tavel menu ) was very average with not great flavor Partner had ravioli and whip not bad also did not have much taste Apps of burrata and stuffed mushrooms were good..when the nice second waitress did bring the table bread after 40 minute of sting it was excellent ..or perhaps we were just starving

Excellent food, service, beautiful outside area. We ordered a few specials and homemade parpadelle with bolognese, everything was delicious.

Although our food was highly satisfactory as well as our service, I missed the fine dining experience at Consiglio’s. It has changed in that respect. And several standards from their menu are no longer on the menu! It still remains a restaurant with a darn good chef and polite, caring staff!!

The patio is such a lovely place to sit. Heaters and fire pits add to the comfort level on a fall evening. Food was wonderful. Pork chop special with arugula was delicious. Waiter Marco was great!!
