   We’d eaten there several times when they were Duckine and LOVED it. Saw they’ve rebranded and decided to give it a try. We’d spoken to a couple by the pool who’d eaten there and said the crusted mahi and veggies had been soggy and they were not going to return, but we figured they may have just been picky and we’d see for ourselves since the previous menu had been excellent. Drinks were very good and service was attentive. The food was ok, but pretty uninspired. It seems like they are trying to lower their food costs and gone with a Mexican flair, so more fries, ramen, fish tacos, tostada bowl, etc. We’ve got excellent mexican food at home, so our bar is pretty high. I had the ramen and cheese tacos. The taco was bland and sitting on top of the ramen, so they got soggy very quickly. Ok to dip in the ramen, but no flavor of their own or salsa to dip them in. My ife had the “my girlfriend’s not hungry” (fis, cheese taco, and chicken tender. She said the sweet potato fries were a bit under cooked, but the curly fries were good. The same flavorless taco and similar chicken tender, with no dipping sauce for either to add a layor of flavor. The birria ramen was also ok, but mot much depth. As we left, our group decided it was worth trying, but not somewhere we’ll go back to as nothing wowed us and there are lots of great places around the area. Hopefully they’ll up the flavor and go a bit more local with their next menu iteration.

   You will be out of their in 30 minutes if you let them rush you. Which they will try to do. Could almost understand that if there was a line of people waiting to be seated but there wasn’t. Annoying to be harassed table side to take your order and once served being asked if you’re done while still eating.

   Last night was about gathering around the table and enjoying magical food created by Chef Alvin and Chef Tanya Doyle at Coco Deck Lahaina❤️. We first discovered Chef Alvin at Mala Tavern when we first came to Maui together in 2020. His creativity with food is otherworldly…truly! We were so excited when he finally had his own place, Duckine…it became one of our absolute favourites! After the Lahaina fire, everything changed😕. What has emerged is Coco Deck Lahaina with Chef Alvin at the helm! He is once again creating magic with his weekly Wednesday Supper Club! He collaborates with a different chef weekly to create these incredible menus that are truly as much of a feast for the eyes as they are for your mouth. You can absolutely feel the love in the room…the chefs for being able to share their love for food with us…and for our love for their passion for what they do! I wish we could just beam back every week! But nonetheless we felt very blessed to be a part of the meal last night🥰 If you visit Maui, check this out if you get the chance…book in advance as there are just limited seats! Our hearts were full, and our stomachs were too…Mahalo❤️

   This place is amazing. The aesthetic is very sports-bar meets casual dining. We sat outside and the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks were the cherry on top. From the service to the food, everything was 10s across the board. I had the birria ramen and my partner had the assassin burger. We were just disappointed that we got full because we wanted to try everything off the menu! Our food was DELICIOUS, we can only imagine how the rest of the menu tastes. Our server, Fernando was very welcoming and sweet. If you’re ever in lahaina and are looking for places to eat, this place is a must.

   10/10 would recommend! We went for happy hour for my birthday the Mai tai shots are so fun and great funky fries, fish tacos, poke donut … might be coming back tomorrow for the donut again ! Our server Gavin was awesome for sure the best service we have had in 8 days of being here

   We were not sure about this place. The menu looked short. Ambiance a little lacking because we were sitting beneath a slightly loud speaker. But the food and the service made up for it. The chips appetizer was delicious. The fish tacos were great. The coco mahi was. excellent. Our server Claudia was informative and fun.

    Really enjoyed our meal here tonight. Fish tacos and ramen are both excellent. Also, loved the salsa trio appetizer. Happy to be able to support Lahaina businesses!
