   The biggest reason why I deducted a point from the overall score is that I made a reservation at 1 and I didn’t get sat until 1:35/1:40 or so. It should be stated on open table that reservations aren’t necessarily an automatic saved table and you will still have to wait until there is an open table available. Julie was our server and she was kind and checked in on us frequently. Our food was great too. The drinks were fun and yummy. The only thing we didn’t appreciate is that we asked for extra knives and they gave us two dirty ones.

   I heard about Cocina 35-Coronado from friend a while ago, but never went. Then I ran into it again on Instagram and I was intrigued. A group of friends and I went this pass weekend and I'm here to tell you it didn't disappoint. Well the only thing that was disappointing was the wait to get in. Cocina 35 is very popular. We had a reservation for 12:45pm, my party was a little late so we didn't get seated until 1:15pm. But despite the wait, our experience was phenomenal. A couple of my friends ordered their Chilaquiles and they loved it, especially the chipotle sauce. The rest of us were more curious so we ordered the sample plates. Tochomorocho was so good. The sweet corn...to die for! The food was 10 out of 10. Not to mention, that our food was on our table within 10 minutes of putting in our order. The drinks were great as well. We ordered the Mexican Hot Chocolate, along with the Moliendo Cafe, Guayaba Nice, and several mimosa flights. My friends complimented me on making such an excellent choice and we plan on returning. Hands down, Cocina 35 Coronado did an amazing job. The food, ambience, and service were all excellent!

   Celebrated with my sister in law for her birthday. We had bottle service and had popping confetti and bubbles and it was so fun! Food was great and the service is on point! Can't beat the location it's stunning! Be sure to make reservations because the wait can be very long. You can also seat at the bar which is fast and easy. We will be going back!    We've been to 3 different locations and each location has delivered superb service, delicious food and a fun environment! We always make reservations in advance so the wait isn't long.
