Christina and Mike Grant, the owners of Coastal Kitchen, have created an experience that will delight and satisfy the most discerning guest. Fueled by their passion for food and a love of hospitality, the Grants have established Coastal Kitchen as the go-to spot in Dana Point. The menu is clean and fresh consisting of fish and steaks cut in house, great salads, freshly ground burgers and more. Coastal Kitchen has a full bar, patio with fire pits, and fresh coastal design.

Our mission is to deliver a quality dining experience in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere with a consistency that will bring guests back again and again. We look forward to serving you.

    The Sea bass was SO SO small it looked life an hors d’oeuvre. It was maybe 3”x3” it was delicious but crazy small. Your shrimp cocktail is to die for though!

    I had a great experience and the waiter was very patient with my quest and I in conversation. We were there for awhile, but I tried to make up for it in the tip! Great job!

    Way too loud. We couldn’t hear each other and drove 100 miles to meet people from Guatemala. Too bad. The food was good but I was embarrassed about the noise.

    I wanted to share some feedback regarding our recent visit to your restaurant for my son's fiancée's birthday. Overall, we enjoyed the evening, and the food was delicious and well-prepared. However, we were disappointed that there was no dessert offered for the birthday girl. Instead, we were only provided with a candle, which felt inadequate given the special occasion. Additionally, considering the high prices, we expected some form of dessert to be included for birthdays or anniversaries. I hope you take this feedback into consideration to enhance the experience for future celebrations

    The waitress wasn’t the brightest.  She could not figure out that we wanted to take an appetizer home. I told her three times. She then had to try to separately after she already did our bill.

    Don't think we'll be going to this restaurant again. Been there a number of times but we always feel rushed. The server was asking us what we wanted for drinks before I was settled in my seat. What's the big rush. I'd like to look at the menu and maybe select something different for a change. After we finishing our entree the waiter brought us our check, not asking if we wanted dessert. We were a bit annoyed and told our waiter that we felt like turning over tables for the next seating was their primary objective. We were finished with our meal including dessert in 50 minutes. Good bye Coastal Kitchen. Never again.

    Great food and great service. We brought some out of town guests who are foodies and they were very pleased. The rolls and trout dip are phenomenal appetizers, and all our entrees were delicious as well. Our server Kelly was great. We’ll be back!

    Our experience was overall excellent; however, the music was way too high. We couldn’t hear each other talk, we asked our waiter to see if she could turn it down, and she was able to make that happen. The overall experience was excellent!!
