The server was polite but not very attentive, we had to wait a long time each time we wanted something. The food was not only super slow but lack luster in flavor… the pretzel bites were almost burnt and took over 20 min to come out plus the grilled chicken sandwich had 0 salt or flavor and tasted 100% of burning on the grill and not the tasty char you would expect. Will not be going back to this location OR the Vernon Hills one!

City Works was amazing last night! The food was delicious as usual! I had their new smash burger tacos, which need to be added to the main menu! My husband had the crabcakes and he loved those as well! Chelsea, as usual, was the most amazing server! She’s a doll!

Service was extremely slow. We have come on busier days and received faster service. It was very odd and disappointing

The ambiance at CityWorks is nice, the food is pretty good but $17 for a burger and fries is a little steep. My partner's burger was raw in the middle and had to be sent back. The service was poor for it being not busy at 11:30 AM on a Saturday morning. Overall, not worth $100 for two sandwiches and two beers a piece.

Sat 6pm reservations seated immediately. Took advantage of nice weather by dining outside on the patio. Food and service were just ok. Tortilla chips & salsa never showed up, ketchup for the fries were MIA. Ordered a wrap, 2 Fish tacos and brisket tacos. Came out cold. Btw the Restaurant canceled our reservation despite checking in and eating there. No points earned through Open table and probably having to avoid paying OT a fee for the reservation?

We checked in for our reservation and I got an email that we were a no show. Also, I mentioned that we were celebrating two birthdays in the reservation and nothing was mentioned or said to us. We waited 45 minutes for our check. Unacceptable.

The service like always was great but it seems like every time we go there one of our favorites is taken off the menu. Used to be great place for variety of foods but they are giving less each time. The sticky ribs are gone the. S’mores chocolate Chocolate appetizers are gone Everything is reverting to hot spicy items. I will still go but a lot less frequent.
