Executive chef: Tandy Wilson

From the OpenTable editors: Chef Tandy Wilson has eight James Beard Award nominations and one win under his belt for the innovative pizza and Italian fare he slings at City House. Wilson tops blistered pie crusts coming out of the woodfired oven with the likes of house pork belly ham or local and seasonal veggies, plus ensures there's very little food waste in dishes such as bread gnocchi with cauliflower ragu that uses up leftover pizza crust. Don't miss the fun bartender guest stars who ensure plenty of good bourbon flows through the wide open kitchen and dining room.

    Always enjoy the service at City House but disappointed in the total lack of vegetarian entrees on the winter seasonal menu. I understand that some ingredients can’t be modified, but it really limits options and overall experience if you don’t eat meat or fish.

    We were a late reservation and were welcomed with smiles and great energy from the entire staff. When we were the last table there, a staff member (chef?) kindly mentioned that they kitchen was closing down so we took the hint and paid, etc. He handled it perfectly and graciously. We felt welcome from start to finish. Our waitress had a voice we could hear easily and she wasn’t condescending when she explained the menu. We will be back! Thanks!
