Food was really big disappointment. Went to Lunch on Saturday afternoon, no one in the restaurant except us. Should have left that very moment. Food was really bad like I’m really disappointed. Ordered meat thali and mix grill platter, chicken in curry tasted stale and every single curry even chicken in mix platter tasted like someone poured all bottle of turmeric in them. Everything has this overpowering taste of turmeric that one cannot taste any other spice in it. Paid the bill and left and went to other place to eat. Hope they Change their recipes and consider actually adding spices in their dishes and not just turmeric

What a great find! We booked after not receiving a response for a table from the Mango Lounge and we’re glad we did. The venue and decor are first rate - very tastefully done. the service was professional and friendly (thank you Ibrahim and Rizwan for making our evening a special one). The food is possibly as good as any high-end Indian restaurant that we’ve eaten in around the world. We had the Lamb Shank on the recommendation of Ibrahim; it was superb. My wife had the Baghdad Baingan (egg plant) which was also out of this world. We will definitely be back asap.

The place looked lovely and was decorated well but that’s about it. If I could give zero stars then I would have as I was really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. Firstly our mango lassi wasn’t sweet enough which our waiter rectified. Then the starters were a disaster. My family and I are great lovers of paneer. There was only one paneer starter which was the Wasabi sesame paneer. Wasabi is not popular within our family, therefore, we requested if the chef can make a paneer dish without the Wasabi sauce to which the waiter said we are very busy tonight and the chef will not be able to make us an alternative paneer dish. I was very appalled by the reason given, however, we decided to select a handful of starters which included the avocado chaat, tokri chaat, mango Baji, two portions of vegetable samosas. The avocado chaat had no avocado whatsoever, the tokri chaat didn’t taste nice and then the samosas…. They were so small and the worse part was that they hadn’t even been cooked properly, the filling was cold and the peas were still frozen! When we mentioned this to the waiter, he told us the peas can’t be frozen as are cooked freshed, however, he then quickly changed his common to say yes they are frozen but all cooked properly. This was so disappointing as they couldn’t even get the basics of cooking samosas right. The selection of chutneys we were provided with were mango, mint and chopped onions. unfortunately, the mint chutney had a fly in it. When this was mentioned to the waiter, he took it away and came back with some more mint chutney, however, he failed to even apologise for what we had witnessed. Value for money was rubbish and the dishes tasted unpleasant. This was not an authentic Indian restaurant at all. We came out for dinner for my dad’s 75th birthday so very disappointed and annoyed with our experience. Thank God we decided to leave after our starters and ended up getting pizza which was delicious lol. Please avoid this place!!!!!

Lovely food, great service. Would recommend to any who loves Indian food with a twist. The classics are on the menu but always nice to try more authentic and different dishes.

This is a great addition to Windsor as not only does the food taste great with some interesting house specials but the ambiance of the restaurant and the quality of the service is also really good. We will be back.

The food was lovely and the decor is very plush, if not equal to the food they serve. Definitely a notch up from your standard curry restaurants.
