   The bananas foster french toast was delicious. Noise level off the charts! Fresh squeezed oj was featured on the menu so i expected it in the mimosas but saw no pulp. Server was nice but we were there for a special occasion our sons engagement! I clearly stated it on the open table reservation and called ahead to remind them. Told the server but he just said congratulations. Others were given champaign per reviews. Wont be back

   Despite making a reservation 3 weeks in advance the restaurant did not have a table for us for over a hour. There were two parties of a similar size that were seated ahead of us which was obviously unbelievably frustrating. Never again

   The restaurant is pretty and in a nice location. Unfortunately the service was terrible and they were extremely rude and unwelcoming. I ordered a mimosa flight which never came. After my food arrived I had to go to the hostess to see where my drink was. They apologized and did comp my drink. The food is just average. I had a mushroom omelet that was dry and flavorless. I needed a new napkin and asked our waiter for a new one. Of course he never came back so I had to ask the hostess for a new one. She looked super annoyed and when she came back she practically threw the napkin at us. We appreciate good food and love dining out but unfortunately we would never go back to this restaurant.

   I love church and Union. One of my favorite places for dinner with friends. It’s a little quieter after 8 o’clock but still the vibe is nice! Great cocktails and even better food!

   Dinner was fine. Not amazing. Just fine. Service was very good and we appreciated that, but was not blown away with the food. The atmosphere was fun. Sort of modern industrial - not too loud, but also wasn’t full, so not sure what it would be if completely full. We were in town for a birthday celebration and so the evening was fun regardless, but I was disappointed in our meal. With all the choices in Charlotte- next time I will sadly go somewhere else.

   Solid experience as always. Service and food were great. It was an excellent place to take friends in town visiting for brunch!

   Truly love this place. Always have the big breakfast includes fried chicken and donuts along with eggs and bacon. And of course, includes a mimosa. We had it for two and took more than half of it home. Came with family and totally enjoyed.

   We loved the drinks, the food was good, but it was very loud. We were also seated in between two other tables that were less than a short arm distance away. We'd definitely go again and hope for better seats.

    Went during Savor Charlotte and ordered from that menu. We were lucky enough to have Sy as our server, very knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. Chicken Kaagage (sp?) appetizer was good and quite large. It’s little fried chicken nuggets with a sriracha aioli on a bed of cabbage. We shared it and still brought 1/2 home. Moroccan meat balls were tasty, especially the whipped feta spread. We ordered the meatloaf and fried chicken for main. Meatloaf is also a huge portion, a little densely packed, spicier than expected. Mashed potatoes were fair, roast carrots meh. Fried chicken is a 1/2 bird, fried nice and crispy while still juicy. Cornbread was cake-y, quick pickled cuke slices very tasty. Desserts were a flourless chocolate cake covered in delicious ganache and a light lemon cake with creamy filling. Both amazing and both gluten free! We were seated in the top floor seating area —very very loud, like the server has a hard time hearing diners. Had to repeat many times to my husband sitting right across the table. Main level is even louder. Plus where we were sitting, I was right below a vent blowing chilly air, so I was pretty cold until food arrived and warmed me up. It was a 70 degree day, so I hadn’t brought a sweater/jacket.
