Had lunch at C and U. It was fantastic as usual. Service couldn't be any better - super friendly too. Food came out hot. Very reasonable for a downtown restaurant. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Charleston!

Our server Kyle was great, knowledgeable about the foods that were on the menu very polite and helpful, the food came out fast. The taste of the food was great. The portion size was perfect. The cost wasn't too bad. And the atmosphere was delightful. I would recommend going if your in sc.

We had a wonderful dinner, made especially memorable thanks to our waiter, Sam. He was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly-his service truly elevated our experience. The food was excellent as well. The meatballs and shrimp appetizers were delicious, and both the salmon dish and lamb burger were rich in flavor and cooked to perfection. However, we were disappointed with the hostesses. They lacked warmth and friendliness, which set a less-than-welcoming tone upon arrival. A host plays a key role in creating a positive first impression, and unfortunately, that was missing.

This was one of the best meals we had in Charleston! The food was amazing and our waiter Sam was the best! The restaurant itself is just beautiful. We had great service from the minute we stepped inside the doors!

Breakfast .. avocado toast was not very tasty! Literally slices of an avocado on bread that was hardly toasted! Atmosphere was awesome but the staff seem lack luster to be working on a Sunday!

This was our first time at Church and Union. It was recommended by friends and it did not disappoint. An old church converted into a restaurant across the street from the City Market. We had oysters on a half shell as appetizers. They were very good. I had ahi tuna and my wife had salmon. Both were very good. The wait staff were all very nice. The only down size is that we felt a bit rushed. We were in and out of there in about an hour. I would recommend a trip there if you’re in the area.

The best thing about this meal was our server, Conor. He was so attentive, friendly, and helpful. I am vegetarian, and apparently the only dishes without meat are a salad and the ravioli. Upon arriving, we were informed the ravioli was sold out. There are other pasta and veggie dishes, but they all sneakily (unlisted on the menu) include some meat/lard. It was terribly frustrating to navigate. Also, the Brussel sprouts were undercooked and dry.
