   First of all the waiter was extremely loud and we felt rushed to order our food. He kept wanting to get us to order even before we decided on what to drink. We finally ordered what they call "crispy calamari" as our appetizer, it was in no way crispy. The salad was soggy, and when we finally decided on our main meal, we decided to share the Cioppino and asked if they could split it in two different plates and of course we got a $6 charge in addition to the cost of the Cioppino for splitting the meal. I only found that out after we got home and looked at the receipt. The bread was the best part of the meal. We don't plan to ever go back!!!

   Been to Christos many times and have never been disappointed, even when we went with 23 people! Always great food, consistent great service and they do not rush you.

   Restaurant Week menu was great, with a lot of tasty choices. Service was excellent, as was the food. Dessert was lovely. Cocktails from the bar were well-made and not skimpy. Can't beat the price. Recommended and we'll be back.

   We went for restaurant week and it had the best menu I’ve seen of all the restaurants in Phoenix. The food was fabulous. He served a house wine and it was very good. And I am a little snobby about my wine.

   Super old school Italian restaurant that is family owned and in this location since 1987. You are warmly greeted and brought to your table where they bring fresh warm bread tucked into a linen and bread basket with pats of butter. The food is delicious and homemade. Recommend the veal meatballs appetizer and they use Schreiners sausage which we love. The shrimp in white wine over cheese ravioli was so good! Loved the lemon cake ~ like grandmas ice box cake back in the day. If you’re into aesthetics you will miss out on this gem because it’s got some funkiness to it but that’s what gives it that old school charm. The old music, mirrors, glass block all just transport you to something you just don’t find anymore. We really loved our date night here & will be back to try more!

    We arrived 10 min late and they were kind enough to take us still. The staff was kind, helpful, and friendly. Amazing food! I love an authentic Italian restaurant that has seafood and pasta. So delicious. Will come back!
