   From the moment we stepped through the heavy wooden doors of Chop Steakhouse, it became clear that this establishment aims to redefine the traditional steakhouse experience. The restaurant strikes an impressive balance between classic sophistication and modern luxury, setting the stage for what proves to be an exceptional dining adventure. At the heart of Chop's menu lies their extraordinary steak program. Each cut is carefully sourced from premium beef producers, with options ranging from perfectly marbled ribeyes to lean, flavorful filets. The wine list at Chop deserves special recognition. The carefully curated wine list spans both old and new world selections, with particular strength in bold reds that complement their steaks. The sommelier team demonstrates exceptional knowledge and enthusiasm, offering thoughtful pairing suggestions that enhance the dining experience. The temperature-controlled wine room, visible through elegant glass walls, houses over 500 selections, including rare vintages and boutique producers rarely found elsewhere.    Second time eating here - the experience was once again INCREDIBLE. The attention from our server Fatima was positively top shelf! Our meals were not only done to perfection but the presentation was positively *chefs kiss* This restaurant deserves a 6 stars out of 5, easily. Will be back with more people every time I’m back in the city!

   Great ambiance. One of the steaks was well done even though it was suppose to be medium well. The waitress had a great personality but it took us a while to order a bottle of wine . Our first choice was not available. Otherwise the place and the price were great. I guess it is new and they working on the kinks.

   It was honestly great at every level. Food was so good, staff was so friendly, value for money was amazing. A definite must try!

   I had a fantastic evening with my family, the staff made you feel welcomed, the food was excellent, as was the service. The butcher’s board is a must for sharing. The menu provides plenty of options for seafood or vegetarian meals. Everything reasonably priced for an upscale restaurant in the financial district of Toronto.

   Great food. Great service. The negroni was completely on point and the oysters were amazing! Highly recommend the beet and goat cheese salad. The squash chips on top are a real treat!

   Chop Downtown Toronto is an excellent choice for lunch. The food is top-notch, with a variety of flavorful dishes that satisfy all tastes. The hospitality is outstanding, with attentive and friendly service throughout the meal. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, offering a great atmosphere for a relaxing dining experience. A must-try is the oysters—it's a first for Chop, and they’re absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this spot for a wonderful lunch outing!

    The half rack of rib I ordered has the same taste and texture as the ones you buy at no frills the only difference is one cost $47 and the other $20. The burger my girlfriend ordered was seems like the cook forgot he was making a burger halfway through the process and just thought he was making some short of weird sauce, if that is not the case then. Why was the burger so soggy? The service was something to walk out on, we waited 30 minutes after point of ordering to receive the meal and every time we wanted to order the waitress always said just one minute, unfortunately that minute never came so we asked for the check. I even had to wait 20 minutes to pay. The drinks were average for the price. The beers were over priced. The one redeeming quality of this restaurant is that it had a very nice decorate interior. And if this don’t make you lose your appetite the state of the washroom will. I understand it’s new years and understaff but in the food industry I don’t think there is any excuse to change that much and expect to use a gas station restaurant.
