CHOP was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. Our family frequents this place. We normally go for birthday dinners there. The food is normally good and the service is generally excellent. We celebrated a birthday for one of our boys last night. Unlike other times, we did not get the usual complementary slice of birthday cake. A bit disappointed. The service was ok and a bit below par this time as well. Maybe we will switch to the Keg going forward, the Keg is another favorite spot of ours.

We had a great gathering of friends to celebrate the new year. Our server was really great, providing the drinks, appetizers and dinner in good measure, and helpful with the menu. The food was great, everyone liked their choices. Me and partner had the creamy mushroom dip with toast to share as an appetizer, it was wonderful! I had the seafood pasta for dinner, which was very good, unfortunately no lobster - otherwise, all was very good!

We decided to try Chop Steak house on New Year's Eve, Great meal, great value for your money we thought. Will definitely be back Staff was great , I am sorry I forgot our waitress name but they were all good and attentive👍
