   Had a great bday dinner at Choi’s! The food and atmosphere were great and our waiter Dylan’s service was superb! He went above and beyond and made the dinner truly memorable. Kudos to the entire team at Choi’s!

   Excellent experience!!! I came here tonight with my fiancé, it was both of ours first time. We got the sesame bean sprouts dish, the grilled pork belly (collectively our favorite dish of the night), the bulgogi tacos, this was neck and neck with the pork belly…. Actually for me, they both tie in first place. The bulgogi taco reminded me of a delicious banh mi, it had the savory meat along with some pickled veggies that give it a nice citrusy contrast. Absolutely loved it. The pork belly was grilled to perfection and was simple but packed with flavor. We also got the fried chicken which was delicious and had a gochujang sweet/spicy sauce, great flavor, chicken was cooked perfectly. We also tried the galbi bowl and finally the shittake fettuccine with shrimp. The galbi bowl was delicious, the meat in it was my favorite part. There was a purple vegetable in the galbi bowl that I wasn’t super fond of, but the rice and kimchi and everything else in it was great. And the fettuccine, the shrimp was a little bit salty but cooked to perfection, and the fettuccine had a unique taste, but overall a great dish as well. We also loved their ginger welcome drink and ended up getting it in a cocktail version which was absolutely incredible. Overall great experience, AMAZING service and staff, delicious food.. we will be back!!!

   Shea, Kenny, Cristian, and Sabrina provided warm, friendly service that made us feel truly welcomed from start to finish. Every dish was beautifully balanced, with each flavor profile thoughtfully represented, making for an unforgettable dining experience. The attention to detail in both the food and hospitality was outstanding. From the first bite to the last, everything was perfectly executed. Hands down, one of the best meals I’ve had in San Diego. I can’t wait to return!

   Choi’s – A Must-Visit Gem! From start to finish, my experience at Choi’s was nothing short of amazing. The reservation process was seamless, and I loved the option to select a Date reservation. A thoughtful touch awaited us—a beautifully crafted card on our table that brought my girlfriend to tears. Small details like this truly set Choi’s apart. Service was impeccable. Our server, Shae, and his support, Kenny, were incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed and brought such a warm, welcoming energy to our evening. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. We ordered the prawn skewers and the charred octopus, and both dishes were exceptional. I make it a point to order octopus whenever I see it on a menu, and this was hands down the best I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and beautifully presented. As we were leaving, I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Jiwoo at the door. He was incredibly kind and humble, which speaks volumes about the heart behind this restaurant. Wishing him, his team, and his establishment continued success in all their endeavors. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience with outstanding service and incredible food, Choi’s is it. Can’t wait to return!

   Had such a wonderful night! The dishes were visually stunning and very innovative. All my friends spoke very positively abt the food. Also staff and the chef were very considerate and got me so many surprises as the one celebrating bday. The portions are on the small side though.

   We had an excellent dining experience at Choi’s. The food and service was amazing. We were a group of six and ate family style so we were able to try a wide variety of items and all of them hit. Chef Choi, also the owner, came to our table a couple times during our dinner to ensure we were being taken care of and enjoying our meal. We will definitely be back
