   The service is still in an early shakedown cruise, so spotty here and there, but it is the best chicken I’ve ever had in my life! When some of the things went a little sideways last night, one of the partners stepped in to make it right. Love a place where they are keeping an eye on things.

   The restaurant is lovely, but the service needs improvement. Our waiter made some good suggestions, but mostly just tried to upsell us on every dish. We ordered drinks twice and both times it took quite a while for them to arrive. Same for the pacing of the courses - very drawn out. Overall, the food was good, but the service did not match what this restaurant is trying to be.

   A standout among NYC dining establishments. A welcome newcomer that feels and tastes like an old favorite. A warm welcome, gracious hosts and staff. Each course dripping with delectable tastes. The butter with the bread and radishes is memorable. The crab unique and tasty. The Filet with fries you want to lick the plate. A top salad on the side to savor the memory of a return. Charming yet clubby both upstairs and down. Cant wait to return.

   An instant classic! Beautiful, architecturally welcoming interior, warm knowledgeable hospitality and wine service, delicious dishes executed with Southern French flair and none of the typically high level of salt prevalent among NYC restaurants. Love this place.

    I usually only write reviews with complaints. However, the dining experience last night at Chez Fifi was the opposite: perfection! No, I am not a planted reviewer! But with a just opened restaurant that one would expect some startup issues, and very little info on the internet, my expectation was far exceeded. The roast chicken dinner was perfectly cooked. The accompanying potatoes were among the best I have ever tasted. In a really nice setting, and the dessert served upstairs in the lounge, I have no complaints...just how to secure another reservation in the future.
