Cheng Mapo Tofu is a tofu dish created in the mid-19th century by “Auntie Cheng” (Cheng Mapo) in Chengdu, Szechuan Province, China. All the carefully selected ingredients are specially imported from China, the all-important “Doubanjiang” (broad bean chilli paste), capsicums and Chinese pepper. The Szechuanese chef creates a totally authentic flavour. In addition to spicy Szechuan staples, such as the Mapo Tofu, Szechuan prawns in chilli sauce, and Dandanmian spicy noodles, a wide range of Szechuan dishes reflecting the incredible diversity of cooking methods and flavourings are on offer reflecting “a hundred ways to cook a hundred ingredients”, that the province is known for.

    料理の提供がランチ並みに早く、もう少しゆっくり出てきてくれたらよかったです。サービス券もとてもいいもので、また是非使いたいと思います

    年に2～3回ほど友人との食事会に利用させて頂いています。 以前と比べて、麻婆豆腐の辛さが少しマイルドになったように感じました。

    A former regular here but its been a while since I had dinner here. The Shaoshing wine was really good and went well with the spicy mapodofu and my favourite szechuan aubergine . The service here is really fast and definitely will come back here again soon!

    店員数が少ないのか、注文をするのに何分もかかる。気づいてもらえるまで何度も声を掛けたり、また、店員がいる入り口付近まで客が移動して注文を伝えている場面なども見かけるほど、とにかくサービスは行き渡っていない。料理は美味しいだけに、残念。

    I used to come here often when I worked nearby but I think that the taste of the spicy mapodofu has changed and the sauce seems thicker. Nonetheless my favourite szechuan aubergine and the szechuan prawns are my fav and enjoyed this! The service here is really fast but would come back again soon!

    おいしいんですけど、麻婆豆腐は、辛さが2種類あるといいですね。辛すぎました。 雰囲気は、いいですし、店員さんもちゃんとしてます。

    麻婆豆腐以外の料理もおいしく、チンジャオロースやトマトソースじゃない海老チリがおすすめです。デザートは、杏仁豆腐でさっぱり仕上げました。

    今回で３度目の利用。 四川料理が好きな友人と行きました。 久しぶりでしたが、以前の方が辛く感じました。自分が辛さに慣れたのか、味付けかが少し変わったのかわかりませんが...。 でもとても美味しい四川料理でした。 雰囲気はまずまず。うるさ過ぎず、静か過ぎずという感じです。 残念だったのは、店員さんがアルバイト、もしくは新人だったらしく、かなり気が利かなかった点です。 でもそれ以外は、辛い物好きの人にはオススメのお店です。

    麻婆豆腐は成都の本店の味と比べると「辣」の程度は同じくらいで「咸味」はかなり強い印象。肝心の「麻」については客が好みで調整できるように花椒粉が別添えで供される。したがって麻婆豆腐の色は本店が黒っぽいのに対してこの店のはどちらかというと赤い。 担々面は本場式に小碗で提供。ただスープが多く、拌面と言うより汤面に近いのは残念。 中国人の店員の中に成都の人はおらず、西安や広東から来た人とのこと。成都人無しでこの味なら頑張っている方だと思う。

    四川といいながら前菜、スープはどれをとってもパンチのない味つけ。期待していた麻婆豆腐も、ただ辛いだけでなんの深みない味。注文するとどかっと全部持ってくるので、急いで食べたい人にはいいかも。　たぶんもう行きません。
