   Great food and staff. Best to come on an early weeknight for dinner. Noise can get loud, but the food and experience is worth it. Awesome seasonal dishes thoughtfully prepared and plated.

   We had an absolutely delightful experience at this Italian gem! The Che Fico chopped salad is an absolute must—fresh, vibrant, and bursting with flavor. The sourdough pizza is equally impressive, with a perfectly crisp yet chewy crust and rich, high-quality toppings. We tried the Genoa pizza, and it was nothing short of delicious—every bite was a perfect balance of savory and tangy. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. A word of advice: be sure to book in advance. This place is often fully booked, and it’s no surprise given the fantastic food and warm atmosphere. Highly recommend! 🌟🍕🥗

   The pizza and focaccia were great as was the burrata and the butternut squash pasta was super delicious. The chocolate budino dessert was also very good Thanks!

   After giving the server mild ribbing over the soft serve “swirl” actually not being a swirl and that the cookies that normally accompany not present, the manager came by and offered some cookies that had been set aside (baker was absent that day) and to comp us the non-swirl swirl. We accepted the cookies and declined the comp, but it was a GREAT gesture!

   The food was great, palatable. The service was almost excellent. But the value is certainly not quite good. It’s the antithesis of Italian dining. I mean, I know we’re in the Bay Area. I don’t mind paying $$$$$ but for how tiny the portions were? No. We spent over $260 for just 3 main dishes and an appetizer and I don’t mind that. But to pay a good chunk of that to a dish that was small was not the best experience.

   Really wanted this to be our new date night place, but super disappointed. First time there several months ago was really good (which is why this is not 1 star). This time we wanted to celebrate our anniversary. Was a sunday night so not super crazy. Service took forever at every step of the evening and turned our relaxed vibe into eventually just grabbing random wait staff to ask 'wheres our wine' and 'wheres our food?' Wine pours were really small. Lasagna was really good but pizza crust was both burnt and soggy which I couldn't understand. Wanted to have dessert but just couldn't wait for anyone to come back. Couldn't flag down anyone to get a check until we put our coats on. Then when leaving hostess put the validation sticker over the parking ticket barcode which is needed to exit the garage so was stuck for a few minutes trying to get out. Left frustrated.

    Usually we have pizza (because it’s delicious) but went wild and tried the new special pasta (Carramello) and the salmon. Both were incredible! Also our server was wonderful and always remembers us, which is so kind.
