   Nice warm welcome , given a table with lots of room for our dog ..Dogs spaced out too which was good , food delicious, great menu choice & fabulous service. Both loved it ..

   Been here many times and service/food quality is mixed, never consistent. Sometimes excellent, sometimes awful and always expensive, such a shame as ambience is good. Had Chatsworth burgers today which were not good. Burgers ok but bacon topping very over overcooked and chewy. Chips were over done and as usual, cold. Keep returning in hope things will improve as a good atmosphere and pleasant surroundings to eat in.

   Lovely breakfast as usual, these guys have got it right . Lovely high quality products and always enjoy using the David Mellor cutlery/ stoneware !

   We took friends as our last visit was enjoyable but Sadly our visit yesterday didn’t match our previous experience. Food was average…. my husband’s steak baguette was tough & my BLT tasted of fish!! No draft beer as the gas had not been delivered so disappointing. Quite expensive for what’s on offer… £11.40 for a glass of wine. Not sure if I’ll go back 🥺

   My husband and our friend had a lovely Sunday lunch of vegetable soup, the salad with chicken and a cake to finish. We have all enjoyed our meal and have heard that the menu will shortly change. An excellent excuse to return soon.

    I ordered the Cajun chicken burger but I was disappointed as the seasoning and spiciness was bland. I've had Cajun food in the USA and there it was generally quiet highly spiced.
