   Michael, our waiter, was excellent! Very funny and personable while being professional at the same time! Food was good, but the portion size left a little to be desired, for the price. Overall a fun experience.

   For the price of the valentines dinner I was very disappointed! It was 205 for couple. We both ordered surf-turf meal. It had a steak which was good and a few crumbs of lobster on top. We had to ask several times for drink refills. We asked for a side of ranch as I like it with steak. After 3 attempts of asking and waiting for it we ended up getting food to go and went to room to eat it after another server br9ught us ranch. There was no music playing nothing at all to set the valentines mood. It felt like we was sitting in a nursing home hallway. Not at all the experience we expected especially for the cost.

   We had the valentine dinner, which was a very good for the most part. 1 steak was perfect for how it was cut and tenderness. The second was cooked perfectly but was a very tough piece of meat. Which is not the fault of the restaurant, and they made up for it.

   Food was spectacular but after ordering only an entree each and the cheapest Pinot noir on the menu our total came to $250 for the two of us which is just not worth it for the small portions. Also they charge $7 per bottle for the water that is served.

   Very small portions for a $92 meal and the black tiger shrimp was overcooked, it was like calamari. For $92 you get a 14 ounce strip steak, 2 , yes 2 black tiger shrimp, 3-4 spoonfuls each of the mashed potato and garlic spinach. Very disappointing. The only saving grace was that the steak was good, not great, good. My wife got the lobster ravioli for $49 and it was just a bowl of lobster rav, no side. It wasn't very good. The server was hard to understand and slow. We ordered tea and it took awhile to get it. The only beverage he offered us when we sat down was regular water or their premium water. I actually had to ask if they had tea or soda. Weird. We were seated in a side room that was a bit awkward and very tight. We unfortunately heard our table neighbor constantly sniffling and making other nasal noises and heard the other table neighbor and their odd conversation. Tables were too close. Not impressed and we will not be back.

   The Valentine’s 5 course meal was amazing! The chef prepared amazing dishes the wine pairing worked very well with the meal. Service was a bit lacking but it seemed to be just our wait staff. The rest of the experience was amazing very likely to recommend!

   We enjoyed a special dinner at Chateau on the Lake in honor of our 47th wedding anniversary. We were delighted with everything about the experience! The hotel where the restaurant is located as well as the restaurant itself were both beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. We had a table overlooking Table Rock Lake where we were able to watch the sunset while enjoying our wine and bread service. Next, we each had a bowl of delicious cream of mushroom soup followed by delectable entrees of seared pork chops and sea bass. We capped it off by sharing a piece of pumpkin gooey butter cake for dessert. The service was excellent as well! Just a perfect place for a special dinner!

    Food was wonderfully good and varied! Solid breakfast along with options like pork loin, salmon, sushi, and prime rib. Dessert table with almost too many options but make sure to try the bread pudding (thank you to our waiter for the suggestion).
