   I’ve been coming to Chat Noir for years and it’s been pretty consistent as the food and service is wonderful. The only concern is the increased price on scones. I think $19 is a stretch and my scones weren’t even warm like in the past. Moving forward, I will just stick with the meal instead unless they reduce the price of the scones.

   It’s been a long time since we were there. It is such a pretty place and transforms you to a Parisian vibe. Menu had many choices and priced just right. Salad portions are plentiful,we shared. Fish and chips were perfectly cooked. Chips were many. My husband had a signature pasta dish it was good as well. Service was a bit sporadic. Initially water was served when we arrived but not poured again after a long time. We sat with plates finished for a while … servers were inattentive. We will be back sooner than last time … I’m sure service will improve.

   I love to go to Chat Noir. The atmosphere is so relaxed and just what I imagined a "tea room" would be. Had the chicken pot pie. So good.

   Be careful to ask about pricing before you order. The menus are very old, and in some cases, the prices are 80% higher than listed on the menu. Our waitress failed to tell us this when we ordered. While the food is delicious and the ambiance is very nice, $32 for a turkey sandwich on a croissant is way too much above a reasonable price. However, in good faith, the restaurant's manager refunded us the difference since we were not informed ahead of time.

   We’ve been coming to chat noir for a handful of times every year and usually enjoy the atmosphere and food. Tea service was nice, scone and pastries are always a hit. Waiter was nice. Something was off with the food this time around, from the breakfast sandwiches, the bland fish and chips to the burnt quiche. Even though the waiter offered to exchange the quiche for something else, the food experience was underwhelming. This was a birthday celebration and I felt embarrassed for bringing our friends there.

   What a beautiful restaurant. So warm and welcoming. We were there for the tea service and it was amazing. Extensive list of teas to choose from and the food amazing! Finger sandwiches, scones and pastries plentiful for two! Can't wait to go again and try other items on the menu.

    The afternoon tea service was pricey at 88 dollars for two but they apologized saying costs had gone up . Otherwise we had a wonderful time there.The service was friendly and Davina our server was attentive and very pleasant and helpful . We have been to the Chat Noir twice and thoroughly reccommend it to everyone!
