   I will never eat at the chart house for Thanksgiving again, the turkey was turkey roll, sweet potato overcooked and over sweetened, not enough creamed spinach. We would have been better served with a TV dinner. Very disappointed

   We were not impressed with the lack of knowledge of our server of the menu or the amount of food we received for the value. It is unlikely we will return.

   I want to preface this by saying that the food and service we received were completely outstanding. Overall experience is based solely on the rude and disrespectful treatment by the hostess. Our reservation for 2 was made 4 to 5 weeks ahead of time with our usual request for a table by the windows. We arrived early and were shown to the section on the west side of the restaurant; there were 4 tables all by the windows which were empty. We were walked past those and seated at a small, awkward table up against a wall with a single point of entry. Previously this has been an area used for staging. Getting into the limited space was extremely hard for me; I have bone and joint issues, wear a brace and walk with a cane. The person seating us made no attempt to assist in any way. My brother stated to her that this was not the table we had requested, that it was obvious I had difficulty with the limited space and we would like one of the other tables. We were told it wasn’t possible. ??? I went back to talk to the hostess requesting to know why we had not been seated at one the tables available which met my request. Her response: “it’s first come first served.” Seriously? What kind of a response was that? I told her I didn’t understand. A more suitable table was available and we were there. She only repeated the response and turned to help someone else. Wow. I went back to our table and told my brother what had transpired. He then went up and informed her that such rude and disrespectful behavior was unacceptable and if we were not reseated we would be leaving. Only then were we moved to one of the other tables. An extremely negative beginning. On a positive note, our server, Baylee, was absolutely wonderful and did a terrific job, turning that negative start to a positive ending. The food was superb!

   The food was amazing and I had a great time! It’s a family tradition to have thanksgiving at Chart House.

   Good Filet Mignon with great texture and accompanying mash potatoes. Wild Bass with lobster risotto was excellent . Awesome handmade cocktails in nice ambience . Server was attentive but a little awkward making for a strange night. Oyster Rockefeller was fishy and New England Clam Chowder had too many potatoes and not enough clams. The Lava Cake was awesome with the peanut butter ice cream.

   The Chart House never fails to deliver. I have been here many times and last night I brought new friends with. They were super impressed with the food, service and friendliness of the staff. Our server, Madison was great. We will be back and our friends who are definitely restaurant aficionados, placed it in their top 3 of Scottsdale Restaurants.

    there were three of us and we all had a different entree------SALMON,HALIBUT AND SABLE FISH------all were excellent-------save room for dessert a MUST is there LAVA CAKE
