    we always come here from san jose for special occasions and can always count on an excellent meal and wonderful service. Jenevive our server was so personable as was our hostess. Can’t wait to try the weekend brunch!

    We had a great experience at the Chart House after we asked for a warmer table. They were going to seat us by the entrance where it was freezing and they moved us further in and we had a good view of the water. Food was superb, service over the top. We even became Landry members with the coaxing from the manager. Look forward to returning.

    When we arrived we checked in for our reservation and stated we would have a drink at the bar while we waited for a quiet corner table overlooking the water. We sat at the bar and had great service and delicious cocktails. The hostess interrupted us and stated our table was ready. We said okay and followed her to the table only to find it was dirty and not ready for our seating. We had to stand and wait for our table when we could have been relaxing at the bar…. After waiting for a while, we were seated. The table was quaint and in the corner overlooking the water, only problem is the lighting is too bright and shines directly into your eyes. Our server was very good, prompt and professional. We ordered the $90.00 special for two and a bottle of wine. The seafood portion was fresh and very good. When the filet and potatoes arrived the meat was cold. When the bill arrived it had a dessert added which was included in the overall price. We brought this to their attention and the stated they have been inputting the charge incorrectly and needed to speak to their manager. After waiting for several minutes the manager arrived to inform us they made the proper corrections and apologized. Overall experience was good, service was good, charges were not accurate and this was disappointing.

    As noted with previous postings, the restaurant is understaffed. It took awhile to place orders. Food was fine.

    We were seated on-time. It was a special occasion for us and the hostess recognized that when we were seated but that is as far as that message got. We wanted to order some wine and the waiter recommended a red wine that was only 2 years old. That is a no-no in the wine industry.

    Highly recommend! Jairo was our server and he was outstanding. Very professional, welcoming and attentive to us as a customer. The restaurant atmosphere was relaxing yet classy. We enjoyed our dinner and will be back!
