   Food is amazing, however not worth the extensive time it took from start to finish. We were sat, hardly acknowledging us for almost 20 minutes; no water or drink. Can’t blame server, she did best she could during evening. Feel bad writing such a review, but maybe a learning experience for management. We were told several times kitchen backed up because of large party dinner reservation. At what point is this explanation inexcusable? Drink order came out scattered, dinner literally took one hour twenty minutes to be served. My husband was comp’d one drink?? Meals should have been taken off our bill. When you have a large party, plan accordingly. Food is excellent. Five of us ate dinner, all meals were excellent; served hot, how we ordered and delicious.

   Have eaten here a number of times. Food is always good, unfortunately the service the last 2 times is incredibly slow. Assume not enough staff, but honestly should let customers know at start of service just so aware of issues.

   Excellent dinner at Char’d. Starters were outstanding—dumplings and KFC wonderful flavors and the sauces were exceptional!! The bulgogi and the bibimbop were amazing and flavorful!! Service was perfect!!

   The vibe did not match the food or plating. Bad interior design and waiter had a casual sweatshirt on.

   We dined at Char’d on NYE, and despite being one of the first tables seated at 6pm, it took over 20 minutes to get drinks. We sat there without receiving our second round of drinks or our entrees for an hour and a half. We did receive our appetizers which were delicious, as were the first cocktails, but the service was horrendous to the point that we left before we even received our dinner. I am hoping this was a fluke and that next time will be better.

   We have previously dined here and originally loved it. We noticed they changed their recipe of the beef bulgogi though and it is not as good as it used to be. When we asked if the recipe had changed, we were told “huh, no. But you aren’t the first people to ask”.

    While other Korean restaurants like Sinabro and Maru go the more traditional Korean fare route, we have always loved Char'd because of its non-traditional Korean fusion of flavors. Not anymore. Char'd has changed its menu, and not for the better. They have removed a number of our favorite small plates and the overall impression is now standard Korean dishes with no real perspective.
