We had the tasting menu with a few swaps as we don’t eat red meat. We ate lots of new and exciting foods which were beautifully presented and delicious. The staff were all friendly and very accommodating. Each dish came with a detailed explanation and we didn’t have to wait long for each course to arrive. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I just wish I’d realised it was a dog friendly restaurant as we could have shared this wonderful experience with our pet.

Delicious food, everything was a feast for the eyes. Friendly and attentive service. Have visited before and glad we chose it for a birthday celebration. We will return.

We went for the taster menu - great way to enjoy Chakanas as I often find it's the smaller plates that I enjoy the most here anyway. Absolutely delicious food with some really interesting flavours. Service is great - friendly and relaxed. Perfect evening!

We had the taster menu, superb explanations on serving via the waiting staff. No complaints, everything was superb. At £80pp, the price point is more than fair compared to other similar experience's. Nice vibe to the restaurant, not too loud neither not too quiet. Would recommend!

As always amazing food, great flavours, unusual ingredients and the presentation was Instagrammable (is there such a word) eye candy. Brilliant and very friendly service.

One of the most excellent places in the country. Erica is one of the best servers I've ever had. Both visits to chakana involved separate tasting menus and each time they shock me with how excellent they are. The drinks are superb and I honestly think £80 for the tasting menu is value for money with the pure craftsmanship and service you receive. We were sat tonight and could hear people exclaiming it was the best food they've ever had. I will always recommend chakana. A truly unique experience.
