Hands down the best meal my husband and I have ever had. We chose the 10 course tasting menu. We loved every dish. Especially great were the pear salad, the creme of mushroom soup, the white fish, and the beef bourguignon. The lemon crepe and the pots de creme were also amazing. We had very attentive waiters, they explained each dish, they recommended drinks to pair with dishes. We will definitely be back.

John and his team continue to deliver a solid French Bistro experience. A tight core menu with seasonal specials. Curated wines are well paired.

If one is looking for a small intimate restaurant with delicious food this is where to go. My husband and I have had delightful evenings here enjoying our meals and the very interesting wines that are suggested. I am not a fan of the ‘bit box’ restaurants and find C’est Si Bon to be exactly a place I adore to go.

This may very well be the best restaurant in Portland- and I don’t say that lightly. The food is outstanding, thoughtfully executed and beyond good value for the price. Cannot recommend enough. My husband and I are looking forward to coming back soon!

We found that this restaurant charming as it’s iwner but in the funished priduct fell short if our expectations. Starters (appetizers) were excellent and french wine selections were outstanding. Wife tasted two reds and picked one and unfortunately in pouring the glass he chose the opposite one but my wife drank it. She Didn’t want to complain. The owner really accommodated me with my custom menu choices. That was a really nice gesture. Scallops, prawn risotto (not sure there were prawns) because I didn’t see any, maybe just broth? My wife’s rabbit was served in a very different presentation that was a surprise. It was served on a rectangle plate and deconstructed. With beans and veggies. Almost like a chili. It was luke warm because of the plating arrangement. She was expecting the normal hind quarter serving. Not a fan. We ordered two desserts, one was the chocolate mousse, and the other was the Myers lemon crêpe. We preferred the chocolate mousse over the crêpe. We enjoyed the evening but probably will try another French restaurant the next time we have a date night. The staff was very friendly in the ambience was beautiful.

Hi there Paul, Thank you for your review, apologies we didn't live up to your expectations. I remember checking back with you and your wife as I do with every table. The rabbit dish was explained as a ragout or rabbit stew. If you let me know which date you dined with us I can reimburse your payment for the dish and the glass of wine that was incorrectly poured. I would always advise letting the staff know if anything is not to your liking and certainly not hot enough as these things can be taken care of in minutes and would have made your evening more enjoyable. If you are looking for other French restaurants in the area I would definitely recommend our friends at Le Pigeon or Canard. Merci bien and thank you again for your review.
