   We ate off the £12 Tuesday menu. There was plenty of choice. I had the sirloin steak which was nicely cooked, with a good choice of sauces and vegetables. My husband had sausage and mash. We both really enjoyed our meals. Delicious and excellent value

   First Sunday lunch here, had the slow roast shoulder of lamb and it was lovely and so were all the veg.

   Booked a table for 2 online for an evening meal. When we arrived they seemed unprepared for our arrival and we had to wait some time for our order to be taken. We ordered steaks, one with garlic butter sauce. When the food eventually arrived, the steaks were rather cold although had been nicely cooked. The garlic butter was solid as it was unable to melt on the cold steak. The chips were lovely and very hot. I mentioned to the waitress that the meat was cold and we were given desserts free of charge. They were delicious. I would try it again to give them a second chance as the food was nice.

   Really great food and we were there all evening - no rush to have the table back. The service was extremely good - efficient and unobtrusive. Thanks!

   Great food but service was hot and miss sat for ages without a drink and staff just looking around and chatting to each other 🤷🏻‍♀️

   Had a Christmas breakfast with a friend and it was delicious!! Complimentary toast too ! My food was hot and very tasty and great value … the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble .. will definitely be recommending the Cellar House .. please refurb the toilets though and make one more disabled friendly - would only take a couple of adjustments!

   Great food and plenty of choice from small plates to main meals. Would recommend this pub and the staff were very efficient and friendly.

   The pub was very busy, we were near the bar unfortunately as the noise level was high, we would have preferred to be in the restaurant, maybe that would have been quieter. Gutted that the Steaks had sold out.......
