   Food was great. Truly. In fact, the Brussels sprouts with the chuleta were so good they deserve to be their own menu item and not a second thought add on to the pork chop. Drinks were perfectly fine but zero wow factor. Seemed like they needed a little more pop. Service was not great though. Taking our dinner order while carrying an arm load of some other table’s dirty dishes was icky. More importantly—and since dishes are meant to be shared—they MUST start switching out plates and silverware between courses. Ours were never changed—I’m quite certain the chef didn’t intend for us to eat pork and Mole from a dish still swimming in citrusy ceviche sauce. But some minor tweaks and this place could be really really special. Again though: food rocks and at a good price.

   We had a fantastic meal on Valentines Day. The ceviche and pork chop with moly we’re outstanding. We ate at the bar and the service was excellent.

   My boyfriend and I made our first visit for this year’s Restaurant Week! Everything was great - we just wish the carne asada had been a little more tender and cooked to our desired temperature. Would visit again.

   Such a nice restaurant with creative dishes that are tasty and healthy. Service was great, the vibe is lively. The food is beautifully presented I wish I’d taken photos !

   My wife and I are thrilled that Ceiba is in our neighborhood. The food is truly unique: it’s fantastic — esp. for so varied a menu. From the ceviche inflected with coconut milk and ginger in an ice bath of dry ice to the thick, rich cut of prime carne asada, from the glazed baked sea bass with its divine crust, to the broiled cauliflower in a rich curried gravy, from lamb shank to a gorgeous poblano stuffed with goat cheese and herbs, everything is delicious, and we begrudged not a penny of what we spent. (Dinner for two was about $160, including two lovely cocktails each.) service was cheerful and professional, and equally, we felt welcomed and appreciated. As a newcomer to the vicinity, we wish Ceiba well. We will be back!

    I had an amazing experience at Ceiba Restaurant. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every detail of my visit was perfect. The food was outstanding—each dish was full of authentic flavors and beautifully presented. I especially enjoyed ceviche, pulpo, coliflor and dragon fruit, which was perfectly prepared and bursting with taste. The drinks were also fantastic, complementing the meal wonderfully. Ceiba is truly a gem in Lincoln Park, offering an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food, great service, and a welcoming ambiance. I will definitely be coming back!
