It was a fun place to try out. But the lack of a bathroom on that level was a little annoying. Having to go back upstairs to use the restroom. There were only 4 white wines and the rest were reds. So not a huge selection. Overall it was a good experience and our server was nice! We would go back if friends wanted to try it out but not sure we will on our own.

Went on a Saturday night at 7 PM and after one group left, it was only myself and my friend. Very small yet expensive wine collection that was extremely underwhelming. The wines that I tasted were flat and some were even $20 for one ounce. The thing that frustrated me the most that I was not told is that you have to go down two flights of stairs, which for an older person or maybe somebody with a disability is hard. And then of course you have to go back up those stairs. And there is no bathroom down there either. It’s like they took an unused space and tried to figure out how they can make some money off of it. It just had a quiet library, awkward feel, no interesting wines, too expensive, and they didn’t think through for all customers with the accessibility. I absolutely love the overall hotel and will stay at the hotel again. This is my second stay. And the speakeasy had a very similar feeling. It was very awkwardly quiet like in a library and also seemed like unused space that they’re trying to make money off of. Both spaces need to be rethought.

Such a cool experience! Prior to our visit, I couldn't find any information about the details of the experience, so I'll drop mine here in hopes of helping others :) Upon arriving at Hotel Vin, you check-in at the host stand near the bar in the hotel lobby. You'll be escorted to a stairwell, which leads down to Cave Society. You're given a card which will grant door access in and out of the cave (restrooms are on the main lobby floor and there are none in the cave), and the card also serves as your card to swipe the "wine vending machine" samples, pours, full glasses, etc., and you're given complimentary nuts and small snacks for your table. Additional snacks and food are available for purchase. There are several wines to choose from, and you can grab a new glass that is meant for each type of wine prior to pouring your own samples. Sample pours range from $4-$20ish, and half/full pours starts around $7 and go up from there. (This is subject to change based on the wines on-tap.) Originally, this concept was available only to "members," but it's since been opened to the public to enjoy. Our server, McKenzie was wonderful, informative, and personable, making it an overall nice experience. Word of warning, though: the swiping (almost like at a casino or arcade) is fun, yet can add up quickly, so tread lightly... :) Can't wait to go back!

It was small and dark. The wine was over priced. I would not recommend it at all. Boring

Very limited white wine selection and zero sweet or dessert wines. The vibe was great, service was great but the limited options they have are pricey. Many wines are at least $30 per 5oz pour. May recommend for red wine drinkers.
