Very disssapointing experience.Everything was clean but service was basic with 15 minute wait to give us a half full glass of Prosecco. Beige processed food with poor choices for sandwiches which were so chilled from fridge storage that the bread was hard.Egg quiche was a very peculiar taste and again the sausage roll filling was poor quality .Cakes apart from the mini scones were shop bought and still overly chilled so we left them.Pureed avocado on sandwiches truly revolting and coronation chicken should have raisins and not chunks of cucumber in mayo with zero curry flavour. Also the tables are too close so it is not possible to have a private conversation. All in all ,not a good experience from what is a good hotel. Most of the tables around us left after about 30 .minutes of arrival as you had no desire to re visit the buffet or sit for a chat.

Lovely dining area. Comfortable and welcoming. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Sandwich selection wasn’t as expected for the pescatarian person in our party. There was plenty to eat and we all enjoyed it. Would request sandwich fillings prior to attending in future. However, overall it was lovely and we would all return. Well worth the money for an afternoon tea. Thank you.

Fantastic value for money. I buy these vouchers from itison all the time taking friends for a day out after lunch. The Prosecco is a good one. I’ve never been disappointed with the food. Food was a hit with everyone as there was a good choice - for vegetarians as well. We did love the deserts. Staff went and above beyond to help in any way they could. A big shout out to the young man on the reception part who showed us to our table. He also served us with our tea and coffees despite being self service. He even helped get our drinks which we were kept waiting for from the bar for well over half an hour. We were going to thank him at end but he had already left. Will definitely be visiting again and again

Amazing customer service- so friendly and helpful - the staff couldn’t do enough for us and were great with the kids. Even my children commented on how friendly they were! Can’t get much better than that. Lovely food too and very pretty decor. My daughter didn’t eat the pasta as had parsley running through it which she doesn’t really like, but the staff kindly offered to replace it with another bowl of pasta without it - so was freshly made as well. For anyone travelling by car, we were able to park in the hotel car park which was very handy. We were going to the Pavillion theatre afterwards and were able to leave the car there until after the show as well. £10 from our table booking of 5pm till midnight. Would highly recommend this restaurant for families!

A nice afternoon tea, we have been a number of times now. A bit slow in topping your tea up.

The waitress tired to give us the wrong food ( just 3 Tables were in use). She did forget about our starters 2 times!
