   I've had Basque food in and around San Sebastian and this place is so authentic. We loved it. Our best eating experiences in Coconut Grove. Also the wine menu is reasonably priced considering the bottles offered. Service was fantastic. And a packed lively place!

   Delicious! We went with our server’s suggestions and were not disappointed! Very enjoyable meal from start to finish. Don’t skip the Basque cheesecake at the end - not too sweet - yum!

   A great spot for people watching, especially this Sunday as The Mango Strut was taking place. In spite of being so busy the service and food were excellent as usual. The staff are always friendly and efficient and make great recommendations. The octopus is one of the best and my wife's snapper was fresh and perfectly cooked. Casa Xabi is a great addition to the Grove's dining scene

   Dinner for two on New Year’s Eve was very pleasant, friendly service and family atmosphere. Great recommendation by the server and the chef-owner. Tried four small plates, bacalao ajoarriero was the best. Very famous torta de queso is much more than what we typically expect from “cheese cake”. Great experience.

   My wife and I had a delicious New Year’s Eve dinner at Casa Xabi. We shared a whole Dover sole that tasted as if it came from the sea to the frying pan to our plate. Don’t be fooled by the limited menu on-line. There was a range of specials on a chalk board to accommodate the most eclectic of tastes.

    Food was very good but not to the level of being excellent. Service was outstanding. Having recently visited Northern Spain, it may be a bit unfair to compare the food ingredients to the ones from the Mother Land. Our server, Carlos, was excellent and so was a girl whose name escapes me, but she has a great personality and was very helpful and friendly.
