   The Ritz is always lovely. Brunch buffet was a little lacking today. Items low or out. For $42 should be full, hot and better items. Ambiance and brunch cocktails were awesome.

   We were not told until two hours before the reservation that it had been routed to the bar not the restaurant, so we were left completely unable to change our plans or find a nice place to go. The food was ok at best and our options were limited to pizza and salads. I had booked this as a special occasion for a family member and was extremely disappointed with their lack of attention. They did not try to accommodate us and basically said we could leave.

   This place knows more about bread than any place I’ve ever been. 10/10 delicious and fresh every time. Paris was a kind and attentive waiter and made sure I was never without warm bread.

   Atmosphere was great, Santa experience with the face paint was fun for my daughter. The buffet however, subpar for the price paid. Food was cold and we were a bit surprised lattes and cappuccinos weren’t included in the cost, I understand alcohol being extra but for $500 for 4 people to eat (and my 5 year old ate 3 chicken strips in total) . This was our second time booking Brunch with Santa and will be our last, at least for any buffet style events. A shame, really, as the Santa and Mrs. Clause couple were just perfect and so super sweet. Had high hopes but unfortunately I cannot recommend a buffet style meal here.

   My group and I enjoyed the atmosphere of Casa Don Alfonso, however, the apple pizza was less than desirable. The dessert needed less cream and more apple flavor in the crust and base, other than that we had a good time.
