   Carytown Indian Cuisine has wonderful food and excellent service. It is also lovely inside and was conducive to conversation with my book group members. We will definitely be back!

   Food was very tasty. I thought that the scallop appetizer was a bit small for the price (just 2 scallops). Our waiter was good but was not always available when we needed him.

   The shrimp and tandoori was one of the best dishes I ever had. There was a wonderful flavor to every bite of the food and sip of my cocktail. Atmosphere was both comfortable and elegant. Fantastic dining experience.

   Carytown Indian is a true gem! The service is warm and attentive, the ambiance is lovely, and the food is excellent. We’ve eaten here several times and tied a variety of the dishes, mainly vegetarian, and every single one is delicious. I especially love Karahi but don’t eat a lot of meat, and they have a grilled paneer Karahi that hits the spot. Easily my favorite Indian spot in Richmond!

   Carytown Indian Cuisine has always been one of our absolute favorite spots in Richmond. The service is exceptional and only topped by the incredible food. We have never had a dish we have not raved about the rest of the evening. We made reservations for our anniversary and they brought us a lovely sorbet and little donut dessert with a “Happy Anniversary” message with warm wishes from the staff. 10/10 always!

   I thoroughly enjoyed myself, however, the most Indian culture that I experienced was from people that were working there were from India or had an Indian heritage. Nothing of the decor was much different from when it was a barbecue place.

    Wonderful service - wonderful food - beautiful presentation! Just a little tight on the seating for a party of 6 but the rest makes up for that.
