   I was really looking forward to spending time with my dad for lunch as I've had really great food at Cartel previously. However the service wasn't great- we waited almost an hour for our food when everyone around us was being served (despite us being there first). The food tasted over-cooked. We had the scallops, octopus and the seafood grill. The scallops was very chewy and the octopus very rubbery. It was meh- not great at all. The atmosphere was lovely but definitely need to improve on the food quality and service

   We visited this restaurant for the first time for our anniversary. Service was brilliant, staff were friendly and very attentive. Food was 10/10 i ordered the lamb moussaka my partner ordered the mixed grill. The flavours were on point. Mocktails were also a good shout Over all experience, I'm very happy with my visit and would definitely go again. Highly recommended

   Pretty good experience. not very intimate for valentines day but will be good for parties of diners. Food was pretty good again well cooked and presented. Not top end dining but reasonably presented.

   The food was good. We received our steaks without fries and were told that the fries would be brought out shortly, but they never arrived. The steak was tasty, though.

   Pasta was very average, my partners steak was nice. The tables were so close together may aswell been sat with the people next to us. We ordered the same drinks and got two different sizes when they arrived at different times. The staff forgot about us majority of the time and left us waiting and wondering if someone was going to come over. We waited 20 mins for our drink & food order to be taken, to which then they took another 15 mins to arrive for drinks, and food 25 minutes, we got left with the menu for desert for far too long and eventually ordered, which then the deserts took ages so we cancelled the order and left. Honestly disappointed as we expected a lot more from a relatively new business. Seems the name has got the best of them.

   Lovely atmosphere, staff very attentive when entering, however we did have to wait a while once seated to have order taken . Food was delicious. I would highly recommend

   Had such a great time here! The place is beautifully decorated, and the service was super quick and friendly. My friends and I were especially impressed by how much thought went into the women’s restroom because it was gorgeous! For starters, I ordered the scallops, but the waitress let me know they were cooked with alcohol which I couldn’t have as it wasn’t halal. She then kindly offered to ask the chef to make them without alcohol, and I’m so glad she did because they were absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection and full of flavour. For my main, I went for the lamb shank, and it was unbelievably tender, falling right off the bone. The mash was silky smooth, and the sauce was just perfect. My friend had the butter chicken and loved it too. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere and everything else was spot on. Definitely worth a visit!

    Highly recommend, we have been a number of times and never been disappointed with the quality of the food or the great staff and service
