    A lovely afternoon tea, traditionally served. Amazing value - 4 types of finger sandwiches - twice as many as we were expecting, 2 glasses of Prosecco, refills in out tea pots. Lovely waiting staff, quiet, friendly, attentive but not in the way. We weren't hurried at all and were even given a tour round when we expressed an interest. A lovely setting. we are already talking about our return and who we will bring with us. Also liked the parking - not lots of parking, but sufficient - with marked spaces for larger cars.

    The Sunday dinner menu at carriages was perfect for a special occasion, the starter of asparagus with smoked salmon followed by roast beef with all the trimmings and tiramisu for pudding was excellent, staff were lovely and the added gesture of limoncello shot afterwards rounded off the meal.

    Nice round table so all guests felt included. Food delicious and well presented. Staff friendly nothing too much trouble.. Well priced. Very happy with our experience

    Great to have a restaurant in Luton that has a wood fired oven that does the best pizzas. The food here is amazing and the staff are to, from the welcome you receive to the service at the table. Highly recommend this place, great food and great value

    Food was delicious, service was excellent, they were very attentive without out begining intrusive. Fine dining at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend a visit to Carriages.
