Carlyle Grill, an Ann Arbor mainstay has proudly served the Ann Arbor Community since 2006. We work with some of Michigan’s finest food producers and purveyors to bring you the freshest offerings around. From steak dinners to burgers and salads and everything in between, we pride ourselves on providing you the best in flavor – offering generous portions to feed the hungriest of guests.

Comfort is the theme at our relaxed, family-friendly restaurant, where the menu runs to familiar, home-style dishes with top-notch regional ingredients. Enjoy our welcoming atmosphere featuring colorful yet classic design elements – bringing in added warmth and comfort with deep mahogany accents and large flagstone columns in our main dining room.

    Overall it was pretty good. Has a J Alexander feel but not that high of food quality. The French onion soup was very hot and good. The Carlyle salad was filled with cores of unripe lettuce- disappointing. The salmon was good. The chicken sandwich was gloried lunch meat. The service was pretty good but they seated us at a table next to a huge birthday party when other places were available. Didn’t make sense. I probably won’t go back

    Very loud and difficult to have a conversation. Had reservations and yet we had to wait 20 minutes for our table. No wine glasses. Great food and service

    We were there for a lunch meeting, and her server was wonderful. We had salads and soup. The shrimp chowder was delicious. The chicken on the salad was really dry. The whole salad was pretty bland. I would come back and try something else. The noise level for our meeting was pretty high on a Friday at noon. It wasn’t super busy, but the echo made it hard for us to hear each other.

    Service took extrmely long. Granted it was a Saturday evening, but the restaurant should have staffed it accordingly.

    Carlyle Grill is one of our long-standing favorites, but we have been doing primarily curbside pickups during Covid. We find that a midweek lunch is a time that the restaurant is mostly empty and the staff is eager to serve.
