From the people that brought you Trattoria Carina, Pub & Kitchen and The Diving Horse comes their newest restaurant, Carina Sorella.

Carina Sorella is a casual neighborhood Italian restaurant with a focus on delicious and approachable food in a bright, vibrant atmosphere. Our menu is built around classic dishes - Spaghetti and Meatballs, Cacio e Pepe, Caesar Salad, Chicken Parmesan - but we surround that core of dishes with seasonal, chef driven specialties.

The Bryn Mawr location will include the addition of a pizza oven and a full bar, building on the smaller footprint of the existing location in Philadelphia, Trattoria Carina.

    Noise isn't as bad as many reviews make it out to be. There is a surprisingly large number of waitstaff but they are poorly trained, which is surprising as this restaurant has been open for some time now. Food is very average. Antipasti sampler is shockingly overpriced for what you get. Won't return.

    This was our first time a Corina Sorella. They are a relatively new restaurant. We had heard how great the chicken parm is and my fiancé is self proclaimed connoisseur of the parm! He was not disappointed. We were both pleased with our meals. Everything was hot, fresh and robust with flavor. Drinks, dessert and service were beyond. Highly recommend!

    We have eaten at Carina Sorella multiple times since it’s opened and it has not disappointed! 6 of us shared the Spicy pizza, burrata, tuna crudoand meatballs to start. The kitchen also brought us out complimentary arancini which were delicious! The apps were fabulous and generously portioned(we definitely ordered too much!). For dinner we had the osso buco, chicken parm, pork Milanese, cacio de Pepe and the spicy crab pasta. All fantastic!

    Our food was mediocre at best. The pasta tasted like it came out of a box and the sauce had no flavor. The Chicken Parmesan was very dry. The Osso Buco sat on a soupy polenta. While the environment is charming the noise level is very loud.

    The restaurant is very nice. I love the decor, good lighting. Service was great! The chicken Parmesan is fantastic! Although, I would like to see a little more added to the menu, it is quite limited. My biggest issue is that seating is a TIGHT SQUEEZE! You are very literally sitting right on top of one another. It is uncomfortable, you have maybe 12 inches between the tables, the waiter can hardly pass your food and having personal conversation is even more uncomfortable because you can hear everything everyone else is saying as well. If they would eliminate a couple of tables to create more personal space for the diner - it would be a much better experience.
