Great place, nice view. The food is good, well presented, good options of drinks, beers and wine. The only drawback was the waiter reluctance to split the bill.

Hi it was a very good experience. Must say that Captain Baxter is a better experience at lunch when you have a better view of the beach and no noise to contend with from private parties

The renovated restaurant is a very nice place to be and both service & food were very good. I felt that some of the dishes were a tad on the expensive side, mains more so than share plates. The menu is small so check it out carefully before to make sure it suits your whole party.

On Saturday night I dined at Captain Baxter with 7 other ladies. The astmosphere and ambience is great in a perfect location. The dining area looks great since they have done the place up. However unfortunately the service was bad, food was extremely over priced for what it is. We had to keep asking for our water to be filled up and the waitress didn’t seem to know the menu very well. Would go back for a drink but definitely not to dine.

Great location and atmosphere but for me the food was a big let down. Tasted like cheap pub food which was way over priced.
