   We always have a nice experience at Cap City. The service this visit was great, but both our sandwiches arrived with the bottom soggy.

   Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the happy hour menu at our table. We went for the nightly pot roast special. It did not disappoint.

   Cap City never disappoints (well, except for no disability access at the door). Our server, Lauren, was knowledgeable, friendly, quick with a smile and just on top of things! The pot roast was divine, the chicken corn tortilla soup was excellent, the burger & fries are a staple and the wedge salad and triple decker grilled cheese were just what was needed on a gray Thursday in Ohio.

   Never have gotten a bad meal at Cap City. And, the potato chips with Blue cheese are to die for.

   Everyone in our group of 7 enjoyed their lunch. I ordered the blue cheese salad with grilled chicken and asked that they put Buffalo sauce on it. They were very accommodating and it was excellent. One person in our group is gluten-free and she enjoyed her GF burger. Others had fish sandwich, grilled chicken Caesar and salmon Caesar salads. Cap City is my favorite Cameron Mitchell restaurant.

   Food here is consistently on point. Oscar was our server last night and he was great - attentive, friendly, remembered us from a previous visit.

   We really enjoy Cap City Diner. Great service and great food. I do wish however that they would change their menu occasionally. It is a great place to gather, but sometimes you just want different foods.

    The food here is AMAZING! Having a reservation is key to enjoying a fine dining experience here without a lengthy wait. My only down comment relates to the comment I put on the reservation. I requested a booth toward the back or side of the restaurant so we could talk. We got a booth by the bar. It was fine, just a bit noisier than I would have liked, especially considering I put the reservation in 4 days prior to the date.
