Very strange experience. We went on a Thursday at 7. We were the only seated table (bar was full). Service was slow but I can't be mad at the guy! He was the only person working in the whole restaurant. Multiple of our cards were declined despite being sure they were working fine. Food was good but ambiance and service killed our experience.

Carnitas were outstanding and cucumber margarita was on point as well! Very good atmosphere and not too busy for a Friday night

This was just a terrible Mexican food experience. If I could have cooked at home I would have. From the store bought tortilla chips and salsa to the store bought taco shells and rice and beans, everything came out of a can or bag. Even the carnitas my husband had were dry and overcooked. And we we told we couldn't get a reservation that afternoon until 7:45 but found it wide open on opentable. When we got there half the tables were empty. Only good thing was our waitress who was very nice. Do not waste your money!

We stopped in on a Saturday evening (6PM) and were told that if we did not have a reservation or could sit at the bar that we could not be sat, not at all, there was not even a wait list. This is a downtown location, people from out of town and people that just happen to be downtown and wanted to pop in an eat, were not going to be able to. I stood there and make a reservation for 6:30. And my party of (4) stood there for that half hour. Only one other reservation was sat during that half hour. MANY, MANY, MANY people were turned away. There must be a reason of this but it is beyond me.......... But after being sat, we had great service by Nicki and the food was good. I would try this restaurant again, and because know I know, I will make a reservation.

We had dinner before a Colorado Symphony show. It is close and a 5 minute walk. Food was good but was warm. The food must have been prepared but not brought to our table promptly. Other than that it is a decent Mexican Restuarant. It was a little expensive for the quality. That said, they need to improve the food or lower the prices.
