   8:45 Reservation for 2 at the Bar TL;DR Food is really good, our service experience was rushed and impersonal, wine is over priced. I will order food from here but take it home to wine and dine myself. most likely wont go back to dine in. Pros: Ambiance is nice with a chatty crowd. Spaghetti and meatballs, brown butter butternut squash pasta, warm olives and focaccia were very good. Bartender gave us good conversation and was able to answer any question we had. Cons: We arrived to the reservation at 8:50, waited 5-10 minutes for our seat (No problem with that), once we were seated, we were handed and menu. By 9:15 a woman came up to us in a hurry and said "Before you look too close at the menu we are out of the Ragu and Tiramisu and the kitchen closes in 15 minutes.", It is what it is, i understand, It just put a bad taste in my mouth right as dinner started. The wine is incredibly over priced, $20 bottle from the LCBO being sold for $70. The plates of each dish were cold, food was hot but didn't last long, they could heat up the plates

   My go-to place when I catch up with a friend. I love sitting at the bar and sharing the pasta carbonera, the salad, and the chicken or the fish. Also lots of gluten-free options if needed.

   A really cozy restaurant in the Glebe. The food is excellent the service friendly and professional. I love the homey atmosphere. The don't rush you and make you feel welcome. One of our go to places.

   Food was amazing as always, but service was very poor. Our server disappeared after our apps, we had a runner deliver our food and never had a server or anyone come to check on us, we would’ve ordered a few more rounds of drinks, we then sat with all our extra food in front of us after we finished for almost 45 minutes before having to go to the front and ask for a bill. Wasn’t even busy in the restaurant. Cantina Gia is always one of my favourites and where I bring guests but this experience was a bit of a shame.
