   Great staff. Nice place but it does get noisy. The negative aspects of our experience were not uncommon to any other restaurant (communication about order, out of menu items, etc) but I’d honestly have to go more than once to assume it wasn’t a fluke. I didn’t meet an unfriendly staff member from start to finish which made the experience pleasant. Food was pricey for what it was but the menu is available online so it’s on you to decide if you see value before walking in. Overall I’d try it again perhaps one day.

   Loved our server Liam Engaging knew the menu Staff could be trained not to stack plates on table in front of guest Saw several waitiors doing it!! 😵‍💫😵‍💫

   Our server, Macy was outstanding & quite eager to please, as was the Manager on duty during our meal. However, after coming to this restaurant for over 15 years, we found the quality & preparation of the food frankly disappointing. We hope this veritable Richmond mainstay improves for all who remember the former culinary experience.

   This is the first time we have dined there since the ownership changed. I couldn't discern any differences. The service was great and so was the food. I had the wild mushroom risotto, and a day later, I am still thinking about how good it was. And the marjolaine dessert was amazing.

   Our server was cheerful and helpful -- what a delight! And the food was so so yummy: crispy oysters paired with fresh greens and a perfectly seasoned tomato soup. Oh and perfectly prepared French 75 cocktails, of course!

   Can Can is a fun place for lunch on a sunny day--or any day--in Carytown. Always a friendly and festive vibe, and the food is excellent and very reasonably priced.
