                                                                                    Sergio, great waiter. Restaurant made great accommodation for one of our party who was just out of surgery. Meatballs, pizza and the pastas were amazing. One of our picky eaters had this as his favorite restaurant

                                                                                    We requested outdoor seating and were sat inside. And we had out of town guests. Usually they put us on the back patio. We prefer front patio. Food was ok this time. I don’t think up to par. I was very disappointed. Don’t know what you have to do to sit outside front. But with so many other options in Naples, we are going less and less to Campiellos.

                                                                                    We have been to the restaurant several times. This time we brought 6 friends who have not been there. Food and service were great as always. We were elated at a table in a corner by the kitchen and service area. Very loud and lots of commotion. Not the environment we are looking for when we invited our friends. It was a big disappointment.

                                                                                    Generally disappointed. Food was OK, but not worth the high price. More expensive than last time here. Menu was also simplified. It seemed like there were a lot more choices in the past. We were seated in The Club Room, which had live entertainment. They waived the $10 cover charge, but it was too loud and difficult to have table conversations. Only beef choices were Hanger Steak and Short Ribs. Creative menu writing had Potato Fondue accompanying the Hanger Steak. Sounded intriguing, but it was mashed potatoes. No bread served. It was an extra cost. Waitress didn’t recognize my wine choice, even though it was a popular Piedmont Red. Signature Budino dessert was outstanding. I would be less critical had it not been so expensive-well over $100 pp.

                                                                                    Campiello continues to disappoint. We have been patrons for 20 years and what was once a great dining experience has become an overpriced, overhyped venture out. Food is average at best and over spiced. Our service last night was poor and inattentive. We keep hoping for a revival to what this restaurant once was but it doesn’t seem to be happening. There are much better options for dining out in Naples.
