Great service, great food, great ambiance both indoor and outdoor. Nice dog friendly patio. Nothing not to like! And be sure to check out local legend Robert Ray on the piano Friday and Saturday nights!

When we first got there, it was about 5 PM on a Saturday and there wasn’t many people in the restaurant at that time. Our server greeted us in time and was very cordial. He did lack knowledge on the menu when we asked him what was in the Barata. One issue is that there was a very loud table in two moves down from us where people were basically screaming and yelling, laughing the whole time of our date. I was really surprised that a server management let that go on as they were cussing and saying inappropriate things as well. The food was very good, but I think that they could improve on their service. Just a tip, when you pay that much for a meal, they should box to go for you and not just hand you a box and expect you to do it.

This was my first time dining here and overall there were ups and downs. The best thing was the service. Charles was top tier, superb/excellent. I definitely recommend sitting in his section. The punch cocktail was just ok. Missing something that I couldn’t quite put my finger on but was fine. The dishes were a bit underwhelming. Everything in general just needed a bit more flavor. The fritto misto definitely needed a bit more seasoning/flavoring. Perfectly fried but even after using lemon on the dish I was still a bit underwhelmed. Caesar salad and artichoke appetizer were pretty tasty. The meatballs tasted pre-made/frozen. Very disappointing. I had the salmon for my entree. The garlic topping on top of the salmon tasted like the prechopped jar garlic with olive oil. Very distinct flavor that wasn’t enjoyable. My friend had the ribeye and she let me try it and it too lacked flavor. Just tasted like char. So overall the service and atmosphere was cool but the food was just ok.

Reservations were made we ran late and we're still able to be accommodated. The hostess, server, and manager wished us a happy anniversary so they were attentive to the details in the reservation and went out of their way to make us feel valued. Mark was our server. He was amazing and new. The alley way for the parking is a bit sketchy looking. Good thing I'm from New Orleans. Food was ok but we like it at home so we force ourselves out to try new things so food has to blow our minds to get a 5. Very laid back and chill lil spot. It's a duck off nobody will find you there if they are looking. Give it a try. We ordered the antipasto, Caesar salad. Grilled bread, and lasagna.
