   Ate here on a Saturday evening. Great service, tasty food, interesting food options, good size portions. Great drinks. Restaurant very noisy added to by some boom boom music that seemed to be coming from upstairs or in the stairway.

   Cambio Marcia is a relatively new independent restaurant serving an interesting selection of Ligurian dishes. All the dishes that we tried were very tasty, freshly prepared and well presented. Portions were quite generous. Service is good. Seating is distributed over two floors of modest dining areas.

   Probably the best Italian spot in Guildford and arguably one of the best overall. Alex & his excellent team specialise in the lesser-seen-on-these-shore Ligurian cuisine and it’s just fantastic. Impeccably fresh ingredients cooked with care and a wine list which puts some London spots to shame make for a great afternoon or evening in intimate surroundings. As happy to come with my whole family as I would be for date night with just my wife, they are doing everything right. The specials board is worth paying attention to as there are generally 2 or 3 pasta dishes and sometimes other things that change daily and it’s always fun to see what the kitchen comes up with. Make sure you try a Sgroppino if you can too with your pudding!Highly recommended.
