   My husband and I absolutely love California Native. We both cook a lot, eat super healthy and we're active people, but we go to CN at least once a fortnight because it's that good. The staff are great humans, always friendly, and get to know you and your order. We're obsessed with the tacos. If you are looking for a great local or excellent Mexican (even a home away from home) than California Native is the place to go.

   Food was amazing but I ordered a classic margarita and when it came out it was the glass rim was only partly salted and it was barely half full. When I commented I was told that was how it comes. For $20.00 that was a but rich especially when the table next to us got their Maranda their glasses were full. Felt a little ripped off

   Hi Robyn, thanks for your review. All of our Margaritas are measured to 100ml including 45ml of Tequila Reposado which fills about half of a margarita glass when strained. This combined with the triple sec makes this drink nearly 2 standard drinks which is all we are legally aloud to serve. If we serve it with rocks/ice it will fill the glass, likely you saw a virgin margarita which we serve on rocks by default. We can serve classics and spicy's on rocks if you request.    Great food - we will be back! Obviously this place has been here for a while - have driven past it many times. Nothing too fancy here with the styling but clearly comfortable in its own skin. We got there early as we were heading to a game but by the time we left it was starting to get quite busy. Drinks on the exxy side but made up for with the food which was great value and better presented and more tasty than your average mexican.

   Terrific place, food, drinks and service we had great fun on our evening at California Native. Reminded us of those great cantinas in Los Angeles serving wonderful food.

   The ambience is what drew me to Cali Native. I drive past all the time and it's so pretty. The food was lovely and plentiful. Everything was fresh, well prepared and cooked. I enjoyed there Sherbet Margherita, very much. The staff were wonderful and very helpful, and I will definitely be returning.

   Great local restaurant. Lovely staff, great food and a very pleasant atmosphere outside in the garden and inside with the aircon. Definitely coming back.

    We have tried a number of Mexican restaurants in the area and this is always our favourite to come back to. Incredible cocktails and phenomenal food. 10/10 will come back again (and again)
