Beautiful place and good food. The hosts gave us a little bit of hassle about wanting a booth but it worked out in the end. Besides that it was great.

Love this place! It is beautifully decorated and has delicious food. I will definitely go back just to try different items on the menu. The Lounge has a cool Bar and great seating to meet up with friends to have dinner and drinks. This place has a great vibe!

Very disappointed that Cafe Fig changed the dinner menu and location. I will not return unless it changes back. Cafe Fig, the the Hotel Figueroa, was my go-to dinner spot for LA Live events. Dinners were seated in the main restaurant with a lovely and delicious full menu. That's since changed since the new ownership. Seating is only by the bar so a lounge experience only. The menu is very different, smaller and the quality has gone downhill. The mushroom appetizer was a fried ball of ground mushroom. Menu description did not describe it as such. I clarified with the server that it was like a stuffed mushroom before ordering, but that's not at all what came. The crudite came with pretty vary colored carrots, a few radishes and endive (I believe). Not much variety and the hummus was bland. Charged $5 for pita. Burrata appetizer was also underwhelming. Oh well, time to change it up!

We went for Sunday morning breakfast. I was disappointed because I wanted to order the lemon ricotta pancakes that were on the menu and the waitress said they didn’t have them anymore. She said my choices were blueberry or plain buttermilk. I chose the blueberry and they turned out to be fantastic . Literally the best pancakes I have eaten and I’m a pancake aficionado. They were a bit crispy on the outside and soft and very flavorful on the inside with the perfect amount of butter on top and warm real maple syrup. My husband wanted the banana bread and again they didn’t have it. He ordered a croissant Instead and said it was very good but he missed the banana bread. The space is quite charming, old world LA The waitress seemed a bit over extended but we will go back for the great food and delicious coffee.

A very nice cafe in the historic and recently remodeled Figueroa Hotel in Downtown LA. It’s a relatively small menu for lunch, but has some great salads, sandwiches and entrees including pasta. The decor is upscale and charming and the service is very friendly and attentive. A very pleasing experience.

Cafe Fig is a beautiful venue and serves a surprisingly great brunch with good value. The prices are that of a good restaurant but not exorbinant at all. I had some excellent blueberry pancakes with a perfectly done oat milk latte. It was a wonderful experience.

Disappointing Breakfast Experience I recently visited [Restaurant Name] for breakfast with two other people, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of our expectations. We started with coffee, ordering a lavender latte that was disappointing—there was barely any hint of lavender, making it rather bland. My companions ordered pancakes, but we were told they were out, so they settled for waffles instead. Throughout our meal, we were never offered refills on our water, which was a surprising oversight. The service overall was less than ideal, with minimal attention from the staff. While I always appreciate giving a place a try, this experience left much to be desired. I hope they can address these issues for future customers.

The food was really good! Lattes were amazing. Most important though, the staff were really accommodating for our infant son. We all really enjoyed being there.
