   This is an easy 5 star review. Reason #1 - our server, whose name is actually Rose, was superb. On top of being super friendly, her recommendations made our meals better. We truly appreciated her advice. Reason #2 - the food was excellent. The lobster bisque is probably the best we’ve ever had. I had the bone-in filet (which is not easy to find in Columbus!) with the peppercorn crust and it is the best steak I’ve had in years (and I eat a lot of steak). It was simply perfection. We also had the potato anna and roasted mushrooms. Both were excellent side dishes. We finished up with the honey-butter cake and house made vanilla gelato. Again, it was just simply divine. Every aspect of our meal was a 5-star experience. Thank you again Rose! We will definitely be back!!

   We came for our anniversary and everything lived up to our expectations. The food was great and so was our server Jen. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a quality meal.

   This was our second time dining at Butcher & Rose. Our first experience was amazing. I was nervous about brining my daughter and her husband again for their anniversary having raved about our first experience; however, we were not disappointed. Our food and service was just as good as the first visit. On our first visit, we had the lobster bisque, the bone in filet, the mashed potatoes, and Caesar salad and 6 ounce filet. Second visit we ordered the Parker house rolls, lamb, Mac’n cheese, au gratin potatoes, the Wagyu Strip steak and 6 ounce lobster tail again…all were delicious! The ambiance in the main dining room is beautiful! We had the carrot cake and butter cake for dessert. Those were good but not excellent. I would rate the restaurant a 9.5 out of 10. I would add though, that the restaurant is pricey and is more of a special occasion dining experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

   Our server was so polite and friendly! Great place to celebrate a birthday dinner. Martinis were amazing, and the food was rich and tasteful

   Beautiful setting, comfortable booths & excellent food! Our steaks were perfectly prepared & the Potato Anna was delicious! We enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration here. Excellent steakhouse!

   Butcher & Rose is a beautifully decorated and the service was outstanding. The food was excellent and parking was easy. This is a higher end restaurant and on the more expensive end of the spectrum. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and would recommend dining at Butcher & Rose.

   Restaurant was beautiful. Waitress was very nice and very informative when it came to explaining the menu as it was our first time dining there. We were seated next to the hostess station which was rather busy so that was a bit disappointing and distracting at times. Would be better if they placed that area when you first walk in rather than being in the dining area. Next to tables. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection!

   It saddens me to post a negative review, but when seating preference was disregarded, I was very upset!!!! I specifically made the reservation for the second floor at 4.30 pm, so when we were sat at a mini-booth on the main level for our “ANNIVERSARY” dinner, and a walk-in couple was able to get a spacious booth across from us without a reservation, it left a horrible taste in my mouth!!!!! Please look at the reservation that I made and realize that there seems to be a disconnect somewhere!!!! Both OpenTable and Butcher & Rose are to blame for a horrific night on my husband’s and my anniversary and I will not deal with either company ever again!!!!
