   The experience started great with Jeannette greeting us so warmly when we arrived. She was laid back but attentive to our needs and kind! We were given a back corner table and Yaya was our server- she was absolutely lovely, patient, and caring! The food was delicious, above all else, and tasted so fresh! We really enjoyed the atmosphere ...and the great service, above all else. When I come to Sacramento again, I will be sure to come to this establishment for dinner.

   The location is awful. Street/meter parking or garage parking at a premium. The smell while walking to the restaurant was awful.

   My husband has wanted to come here for a while and I thought to surprise him for his birthday. And we were not disappointed. Kendra greeted us upon entering and sat us right away. The layout is open and beautiful. The tables are simple and comfortable. The food was so so so so good. Their mashed potatoes are what everyone dreams theirs to taste like. My husband had the New York steak and it was practically falling apart. He didn’t even need the steak knife. Kendra was such a wonderful and attentive server. Michael, the manager, walked around and made sure that all the guests were being taken care of. Chef came out with our meal and made sure that everything was to our satisfaction. I could go on and on. This was such a wonderful first trip with future trips already being planned.

   You pay high dollar for a steak with no sides other than a few strands of vegetables. There is a built in “kitchen equity” charge to “motivate the chefs,” whatever that means. Perhaps they should pay the chefs what they deserve rather than passing the cost to the customer. You also get charged extra for every little thing. Manager asks for feedback before drinks and apps arrive, which were slow to arrive. Food was good, but we will not return.

   Food was excellent but the service was outstanding, not just from the server but from every single employee. Literally I would say almost every employee made eye contact and greeted us and asked us if we needed anything. They are doing something right.

   Brought my husband here for his birthday. From the minute we walked in everyone was so friendly. The chef even came out with a sample of an upcoming menu item. We ordered the Butchers burger with fries, Mac & Cheese & Braised Short Ribs. For his bday they brought out a cup of ice cream with a big sparkler. Everything was delicious & filling. I have a gluten allergy which they take seriously & they have plenty of menu items for me to choose from. Would definitely come back here.

   The food was good. The drinks were overpriced. The waiter was amazing. Gave really good service. We were given a birthday ice cream, which were told what it was no charge and then charged five dollars. We were also charged a table fee so there were over $20 in fees we were a bit shocked. The restaurant isn’t in the best location so beware. The hostess talked a lot was nice but definitely talked a lot . The food was good a bit pricey.

    Came in for my husband’s birthday on a Sunday night. We had a reservation but, we were early and we were accommodated anyway. We were given the option of picking our table but decided on the bar top and I’m so happy we did because we had the best experience hands down. Tyrone was our bartender/server and he went above and beyond making sure we were taken care of and was very thorough on any questions we had about the menu. He made us one of the best margaritas we’d ever had. We also had the goat cheese croquettes and the braised short ribs. Everything we ordered was divine and we were even brought out a special “off the menu” tastings of a butternut squash soup which was absolutely incredible. Can’t wait to come back!
