My name is Burro. I love chef-inspired tacos, tequila drinks, good music (according to us), vegetarians, bourbon, graffiti, vegans, mood lighting, queso, AND YOU!!

Our kitchen is 100% nut and GLUTEN-FREE, and we are 100% serious about that.

For the "Liquid Diet" sort of crowd. Our bartenders are equally happy to whip you up a hand-crafted creation or a classic cocktail. If you just want a shot of tequila we're into that too.

    My friend and I were in and out earlier than the maximum 1.5 hour time. The food was excellent as always and arrived quickly. We were a bit surprised that the “pre-taco” ceviche was served at the same time as the tacos. We enjoyed our meal but found it irritating to be asked literally every few minutes by both servers if everything was alright. I understand that the intent was to encourage us to order more but the effect was to have us feel very rushed and self-conscious about trying to have a conversation and finishing our meal. It was a Sunday 6pm reservation. There was no line-up. There were empty tables. The staff was polite and friendly but the constant asking was to the point of being incessant and detracted from our meal. We asked if there was herbal tea just to feel more comfortable staying a bit longer but were told “no tea”, so we just settled the bill and cut the visit short.

    Food was really good but $7 a taco seems expensive as the tacos are quite small. So you need to order 4 to feel full so that’s already $28

    The mix of 90's/2000's music was a *great* touch. Wasn't too loud, either. The food was delicious but in the handful of times we've been to Burro, that comes as no surprise lol. Everything tastes fresh (taco toppings👌🏼) and is cooked well. We are big foodies and feel like Burro is one of our favourite spots.

    The tacos, as always, were perfection. We had the fish (OG), brussel sprouts, and halloumi & sweet potato. Our server was so lovely…she always remembers us when we come in. No matter how busy it is, she always has time for a chat while still being attentive to each of her tables. Best restaurant ever :) Please bring one to Port Dalhousie!!
