   I have to say the food is top notch but our service was sorely lacking. I made a note that we were celebrating a birthday and a recent graduation and our server Josh basically acknowledged the birthday only as desserts were served and never once mentioned the graduation. I don’t know whether you normally serve a dessert with a candle, I think you do because the table next to ours got a dessert with a candle, but the wishes from Josh seemed like an afterthought. The time between courses of the Prix fixe approached over half an hour for me, granted I got my burger well done, but that shouldn’t take that long. Josh came and said our next course would be about 5 minutes, the other person who ordered Prix fixe got his in that time, my burger took another 15-20 minutes and only came after someone from the kitchen came and asked whether someone at the table was still waiting for the burger. When Kosh returned, his reaction was “where did you get that burger, did you order it?” Dessert arrived seconds after I got my burger and immediately after that, Josh dropped the payment on the table. Didn’t ask if anyone wanted coffee, or if anyone else wanted dessert, two of us including the birthday celebration didn’t initially order dessert and I could have had a cup of coffee after that meal. But after he dropped the payment off, we sat for about 20 more minutes and he NEVER came back to the table. The only reason I gave 2 stars was the food, otherwise the experience was a service nightmare.

   Bulla usually never misses. On this last visit, we had a fantastic bartender, Ru, and a food server, Quinton, for our big group. Drinks were 10 out of 10. The food was good. However, the grease used for the calamari, chicken, waffles, and empanadas was old, leaving all the food dark brown and overcooked. Everything else non-fried was great. It wasn't reassuring that the manager never came over to speak or acknowledge the subpar grease. I'm sure the manager sent Savannah, a sweet attendant, to our table because she didn't want to hear our feedback. Only because I frequently visit Bulla and know their chefs are good will I return. Hopefully, today was just lousy mgmt in the kitchen, and the former manager and team will return soon.

   We had a reservation and after waiting 25 minutes we left- we saw many tables open and turned yet we waited as did others who had a reservation after us- we were very disappointed and went elsewhere

   The food was good. Service was horrible. It was my niece’s birthday and we waited 45 minutes just to get our drinks, received two appetizers that we didn’t order, didn’t receive part of our order at all and finally just canceled it. I was just really surprised that the service has really fallen at this place. I love their food, but I just can’t deal with the service there.

   The food is always outstanding at Bulla. I’d highly recommend getting the paella - every style is good. The croquettes and albondigas are always a favorite as well. You really can’t go wrong no matter what you order!

    Start with food was great. Good value for money. They put is in back corner of table size. Decor and ambiance was not good at all. The service lady was not knowledgeable and we sat for long times to get service from her. Always missing something. Silverware etc. I’m glad the food was good. But not impressed with the rest.
